The United States Marine Corps has issued official statement that MCT Training has officially opened and begun their West Division access to women. I will take a few moments to address my stance on women in the military.
For over 100 years, Feminism argued "EQUALITY FOR WOMEN", however in most recent decades, that argument has skewed into a belief that women should be allowed to do all the same things a man does, all the while simultaneously expecting lower standards to be met so they could be given the opportunity. The sad and pathetic reality is that most women today are indoctrinated to believe that equal means meeting a lower standard that is established to define "equal". The doesn't define equality at all. In fact, that says women want to be treated "SPECIAL" rather than equal.

Lowering the standards to then meet an "equality" rank only further supports a man's stance in that they now can show that a woman HAS NEVER been able to serve in the exact same capacity or demands of serving in the United States Marine Corps. without extreme rare exception.
You don't have to lecture as a woman about "Rosie the Riveter". My great grandmother was a Riveter during World War II at the local depot where is now known as the Hayward Municipal Airport. She redefined the standards of riveting and turned a seamstress skill into a new standard of fabrication of metal sheeting and fabricating of plane material. So no, I do not need a lecture on a woman being able to do the same thing as a man and not demanding special treatment.
How do I feel about the MCT training on the East Coast being opened up to Women? Well, I do not agree nor approve. Why? The standards of PFT and CFT have been lowered to accomodate the body functions of a woman. Lowering the physical and mental requisites to accomodate women just proves one thing- If the woman can pass the new lower standards, then they were never fit for service to begin with, in my honest opinion. Have the same woman perform and pass the standards set for men previously and I will have no problem to salute her and say Semper Fi Marine, you earned it!
MCT training at West Division in Camp Pendleton, San Diego, California is what I consider a disgrace to the Marine Corps. Camp Pendleton is superior and primarily known for one major task: training our 2-5 Force Recon Marines. So now these bureaucrats want to pander to the women who say they can't hack the male standard of performance, want to lower those standards just to serve at all, and simultaneously are demanding to be treated equally, thereafter wanting to serve in combat in the future, no doubt. Wait did I just say that right? Women Marines want to go into combat but they don't want to have to meet the same standards of a Force Recon Marine? Sorry, I have no sympathies, considering I live with a Recon Marine and once a Marine, always a Marine. It takes a certain kind of person to serve this country in that capacity at all. I can tell you from all the Recon Marines I have met in my life, the average woman does not meet the standard of a TRUE MARINE.
Now, I will say this: I give full faith and credit to one female marine I personally know who met the same standards as her fellow servicemen over a decade ago. The pride there is that she is proud to have served at all, having met the same criteria, although she did not become a Recon Marine. Know your limitations ladies.
Just as not every man belongs in every MOS, a woman asking to perform the same MOS should have to meet the same standards as the men, not lowered standards.
DO NOT DEMAND EQUALITY AND THEN BITCH ABOUT IT WHEN YOU GET EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANTED!
The administrator for the Facebook Page US Marine Corps stated today that they hold EVERY marine to the highest of standards. I guess if they keep lowering those standards, then it doesn't exactly equate to the highest of them, does it?
Guess these pansies won't be earning their Bulldog Badges.
Can't hack the old standards? Then get the hell out of the Recon Kitchen!
