It wasn’t so long ago that the nation was rattled by the disappearance of one Caylee Anthony, a little toddler who turned up missing from her Florida home. A toddler that would later be discovered by a utility worker and her mother charged with murder, along with child endangerment, concealing the whereabouts of her child, among many other charges. Networks would become flooded with trial coverage that could only be compared to the infamy of the OJ Simpson Trial of the 1990s. Casey Anthony, due to what I can only describe as a horribly flawed and crooked prosecution and tainted evidence, would only be found guilty of child endangerment by a jury of 12. A jury of twelve would later confess they did believe Casey Anthony killed her little girl but the prosecution just did not prove their case. Casey Anthony would receive time served credit and a short spurt of time before being released from prison, only to disappear into the night while America was sleeping.
It begs the question among Americans why so many were compelled to watch the story that would plague HLN news 24/7/365 for over a year. But over five years later, a new story has unfolded while the media has America distracted with D.C. politics. Another child has disappeared and no one seems to be paying attention. From what only can be described as a disturbing account of events by a mother whose story seems to change with the seasonal tides.
On March 9, 2019, in a small hoosier town in Indiana, a little baby girl named Amiah Robertson is said to have disappeared to never be seen again. The date gone missing would be placed into question due to conflicting information and conflicting social media posts which would cause conflict for what now is four months and counting. Mother, Amber Robertson, can’t seem to get her daughter’s age straight or her eye color correct when she speaks to the press in initial announcements. Amber’s statements would appear emotionless with false tears almost making the public wonder how does a mother not cry when her baby has gone missing. The public statements divulged by Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department have only shown the surrounding community that her mother Amber has too many questions surrounding her lifestyle begging only the question of who last had Amiah and where did they take her? Mother, friends, current or former lovers, as well as the entanglement of a potential paternity case regarding Amiah would complicate and distract from what should be a simple clean and clear cut issue. The question begging of an answer is how did one baby just magically disappear and no one paid attention, no one is talking, a mother has told multiple stories, houses and properties have been searched, and yet not one person is in custody for the disappearance of a baby. Amiah wasn’t a toddler like Caylee Anthony, one that could just get up and walk away on her own. Amiah was in fact still under a year old and only within the past week would she have turned one year old. A brief spotlight would turn dim and America would turn their heads to ignore the story of an endangered child who has gone missing and law enforcement barely bats an eye while a child would have celebrated her first birthday. Instead, city police called off searches and are treating this matter as a homicide; a homicide with no body.
On March 19, 2019, the press would have had a short camera interview with mother Amber that would change the perception of the general public. They would believe she was solely responsible for her child’s disappearance although one would claim she was not currently a suspect. Tips and mother would eventually lead them to a location known to her and Robbie Lyons as a special spot would turn up possessions belonging to the missing baby Amiah. It begs the question of how popular was that location or who all knew Amber would take her daughter to that location at any time. The common logic answer comes easy to the common person: everyone who knew Amber well enough to pay attention, including the babysitter, her boyfriend or multiple exes and friends, or whatever they want to call themselves on any given day, would in fact know Amber’s common habits. Every person has common places they go. It is just one of those things we all do. We all get comfortable in routine. IMPD appears to believe this no different. Essentially, by stating such vague comments in interviews and public releases, the IMPD has pretty much said that EVERYONE is fair game suspect because everyone around the community has been anything but forth coming. Anyone at all could be responsible.
In the meantime, an incident is alleged to happen where Robbie Lyons is arrested on the charge of assault where Amber would allege Lyons attempted to hit her with his car after days of “taunting her” regarding the whereabouts of her daughter. He would be discovered to have an unrelated warrant for check forgery in another jurisdiction. For unspecified reasons, Robert “Robbie” Lyons was released and would leave town. People are saying this sounds suspicious because if he had nothing to hide then why leave. At the basic looks of the situation if it were me, I would leave, tell law enforcement where I could be found and I would get the hell away from anyone who would otherwise point the finger my way for whatever motives they would have. The family has repeatedly pointed the finger at Lyons. Amber points the finger at Lyons.
One should wonder why police have not pointed the finger at Lyons. Police have searched local stream areas to no avail. The area has been combed with cadaver dogs to no avail. This means in laymen terms, no decaying body was ever in that dumpster and there are no records that indicate the dumpster was replaced. Therefore, the dumpster theory some have is out. In Forensics, one would learn that blowflies and adipocere would both release an odor detectable by cadaver dogs. It would for an easier concept “smell like rotting meat” to the degree of instant stench to cause the average person to vomit. As Casey Anthony trial would prove, rotting hamburger meat juice would not produce the same residues as rotting or deceased flesh. Or would it? Because what the Anthony trial would prove is that any meat flesh would produce blowflies and adipocere but at different rate speeds, at least that is what the experts stated. So if we apply that logic here, any and all residual traces of even a live body, bloodhounds AND cadaver dogs would both be capable of what is called a “scent hit”. What people forget is the accumulation of no evidence is also evidence in and of itself.
As of March 23, 2019, less than one week after reported missing by family, Press networks report IMPD rules the investigation a homicide after a week long effort of search and investigation. All leads point to missing child was likely murdered. After one week officially missing and exactly 14 days after the last documented public sighting on March 9, 2019, Amiah is ruled deceased.

Some might question if there is no victim, there is no crime. If there is no body, there is no victim and subsequently one would surmise again no crime.

Amber Robertson claims several dates of viewing her daughter, of which only one date would remain consistent in statements to Law Enforcement. On March 9, 2019, Amber claims she handed her daughter over to her boyfriend, Robbie Lyons, who was “supposed to take her to the babysitter”. This story is placed in question as she later states she got into an argument with him, as confirmed by Homicide Detectives that she states at 10pm the same evening (around or about that time) they would argue and he would insist he dropped her off at the babysitters as requested. The babysitter later alleges she saw Amber leave the home with Amiah at this time. Amber claims she asked her boyfriend and that was his reply but simultaneously also said she didn’t know where she was as well as insisting to police, “the babysitter had her”. So either she did know where she was or she didn’t care until police came asking several days later after a string of days where Amber would take a vacation at a nearby hotel WITHOUT her daughter and a babysitter would be proven via social media posts to have faked a trip to Las Vegas, Nevada.
Amber didn’t know where her daughter was, so she claims, but she continued to go out and have fun at hotels with boyfriends or former lovers, until her family would call police on March 16th reporting the child missing while also saying they did not believe she would be in danger. After several days of conflicting statements from family members, police were led to believe the general welfare of Amiah was at risk and they immediately placed a Silver Alert for Missing Baby Amiah Robertson for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Area.
The case however has several issues at hand. One day after the Silver Alert was issued (on Tuesday), on Wednesday, the Alert was rescinded. Robert “Robbie” Lyons, the boyfriend, had repeatedly given a list of locations the child might have been. His tips were of common knowledge practices as to Amber Robertson’s habits.
EYE COLOR: BLUE??? not hazel...
The detectives assigned would convince a judge to sign a search warrant to dig up a property where family led their search to as a potential last sighting location. After multiple searches of that same babysitter’s property on South Holmes Avenue, belonging to Jeanette Browning THE BABYSITTER, nothing would be uncovered and the spotlight would turn away from that home. But that isn’t true either. What is true? Police uncovered several items belonging to the Robertson Family.
The Aunt of Amiah insists someone must have her and the family just wants her home. But no one in the immediate Robertson family is talking. Their actions however say plenty.
Stories of a past lover, ex boyfriend or fly by night fling have resulted in Amber evading Process of Service for Paternity of Amiah and now conveniently because she cannot produce a child that is declared missing or otherwise, no Paternity hearing can be legally held until such time the child can be produced for Genetic Paternity Testing. It seems all too convenient that Amber suddenly has no clue as to the whereabouts of her daughter, where she simultaneously knew she had to not only evade service but find some way to avoid the embarrassment altogether. This is the average talk of the town from the lay-person of the Metro Area.

Now if that wasn’t suspicious enough, Social Media reveals that the babysitter whose home was repeatedly searched or excavated revealed only that Amiah was ever there but mother Amber would elude that possessions belonging to the Robertson family would be expected because they would often leave items there. But why? Of course a scent hit would occur in the home, but nowhere else? Hmmmmm. Makes one think doesn’t it?
Since March and April of this year, several more tips have come in from the community to police. All to no avail it seems. The community of South Indianapolis is left to wonder why there isn’t more public outcry. Several groups would develop out of their drive to solve the crime themselves. Personal dramas would be revealed, potential criminal acts would be often discussed and an ever shadowing spotlight would be cast permanently on close friends and associates of mother Amber, including but not limited to many people wanting to be the next sleuth to solve a case.
However, ONE significant group of people have united to gather information in concert with law enforcement with decries of failure of media and loss of care for one missing baby. An 8 month old doesn’t just walk away on her own. Something happened to her. This group of people, AMIAH’s FAMILY BEAT, has managed to compile some of the best advocates, licensed private investigators,
press members, private journalists and freelance journalists and bloggers, law enforcement, retired law enforcement and investigators, forensic specialists among many others including a medium to announce that while Law Enforcement is doing their job, they are there to help sift through the many tips and gossips within the small community that is Amiah Robertson. A child doesn’t control who their family associates with, but AMIAH’S FAMILY BEAT doesn’t care who is responsible. Their sole task is to assist law enforcement in their duties to help in ways they may not be able to.
A medium has led law enforcement to unearth search areas that would become disturbed. What can be revealed is SOMEONE IS WATCHING LEOs and AMIAH’s FAMILY BEAT and trying to distract and divert attention. Halos Investigations has volunteered their time and specialty as certified missing children’s experts that work with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. People across Several states since March have come forward with comments as family friends, social Acquaintances among others. The Beat has an assistant director of human remains and trained certified dogs who make it very clear they are not there to help the family, but to find justice for a missing child if necessary. They won’t be notifying family but law enforcement of any hits. At this point, because no one is an open suspect, that also means everyone is fair game.
Names like Jami Lane, Carrie Miller (maternal grandmother), Ron Sims (Stepdad) would become first focus of the community. Why, if Amiah is “Believed to be still alive” would Carrie and Ron, the maternal family, throw out Amiah’s perfectly functional baby furniture to the garbage sitting outside their home the very day the family reported her missing. Among the pile would be a walker that Amiah would have used to try and learn to walk. After all, she wasn’t yet walking, if barely crawling at all. This would place every act of theirs in suspicion. So? just maybe the appearance of unity within the home is actually a lie? No, you don’t say! Why throw out her possessions the very day she is reported missing to police if she is “coming back”.
Andrice Cox would become a name people would not forget and would make himself a center of attentions where he would later state he wasn’t going to be a snitch and he wouldn’t speak to anyone who “wasn’t shit”. If people surrounding the life of this child don’t want to be made a suspect, they shouldn’t be labeling themselves as a potential would-be “snitch”. Snitch is a term we use if you were a participant in a crime either in pre-meditation, while it was happening or in an after the fact scenario. Andrice Cox knows something and he doesn’t want to talk he says, but he has talked enough on Facebook live videos and discussions making them a public forum of criticism and of evidence. Or is this just another wannabe ego touting their own feathers trying to seem more important than they are? Who knows, right? Wrong! When you tout false feathers you draw attention either way your direction. Andrice should be a huge flag if anyone has paid attention. Suddenly, as of July 2019, he no longer wants to be in the limelight and has privatized his Facebook to the degree of demanding people stop using his videos or pictures or statements he previously had as public domain. Once it is public, you cannot just undo that. You cannot erase what has already been seen. “You cannot unsee that which has been seen”.

A new boyfriend would appear to be in the picture named Logan Hull, now broken up, who would back up a truck to a dumpster on camera with trash in hand. Wait, another boyfriend in the picture? How many people would Amber Robertson be dating and involving in Amiah’s life? Oh wait, our progressive society tells us not to point “that kind of rhetoric”. But if the manipulation is well in the world of Amiah, how many people did she have raising this child aside from herself. Multiple allegations have swung all directions. Lots of gossip has interfered with any real results. Theories strung about who is at fault. New boyfriends, a new baby on the way being alleged, old boyfriends or flings, overall a lot of fingers pointed which distracts from the real issue.
In the world of parents, we can without a doubt say all of the following based on facts currently released.
Mother’s social network is completely unstable and potentially harmful not just to her missing baby Amiah, but Child Protective Services may need to intervene where a potential unborn child may be at risk. After all, a mother left a child with someone and according to her, the child is now missing, and now IMPD has ruled the case a homicide. In the CPS world, this is clear evidence of endangerment.
The endangerment charge is a very vague one. Amber Robertson in my opinion, should be charged with child endangerment no different than Casey Anthony was as her disappearance at 8 months of age has been ruled a homicide? Then others might argue, can you really charge a parent for a crime that maybe a babysitter committed? Some would say no, but if they knew something and did nothing, would that change your mind? Maybe?
What we know is this:
At 1:15 Robbie Lyons is confirmed sighted dropping off the child. At approximately 4 pm, texts exchange stating Amiah is with the babysitter. Allegations fly regarding a dumpster, later proven false. We have proof of her arrival to the babysitter but no proof afterward. Based on the fake Vacation to Vegas, it appears Amber also was misleading people to believe her daughter was in her care at the hotel by posting pictures of Amiah on Facebook. At 10pm on March 9th, Robbie and Amber would argue. The babysitter may or may not be involved in this argument. The police are not releasing a lot, but they do have footage from various areas of the city.
AMIAH IS MISSING. The case has been ruled a homicide because without tips leading to proof of life and no tips leading to evidence of the child being given up or handed over, the child can only be ruled as deceased. An infant cannot provide for themselves and depends on an adult to care for them. So either the child truly is missing and dead or the child is being concealed by all parties involved, possibly even kidnapped.
AMIAH’s FAMILY BEAT Believes people need to be charged with obstruction who are knowingly interfering with the case of this missing baby. If the IMPD can determine that any family member has lied, then AFB believe that even they should be charged. The problem with mourning a missing child is police do not want to appear overzealous. As far as I am concerned, I share the hopes of AFB to charge anyone giving false information, anyone obstructing the investigation or tampering with potential evidence, and IMPD should also charge any person who can be shown to be lying to law enforcement. A baby is Missing. At least that is what her mother has declared on public media televised interviews. And on the momentary chance she isn't missing at all, then millions in resources may have been exhausted on a sick game. Either way, all persons involved need to be brought to justice.
We all encourage anyone with tips on the whereabouts of Amiah and or her remains or any information pertaining to locating her, dead or alive, to please come forward. If you need anonymity then call in a tip to your local Crimestoppers. If you are afraid or anxious about retaliation, call Crimestoppers. If you need direct protection please call the case detective and ask for a meeting with them AND the District Attorney.

And if you are a “snitch”, call Crimestoppers immediately and give an anonymous tip leading to the arrest of responsible parties. A child deserves justice and all responsible parties need to be held accountable, whoever they are.
Frankly, I do not trust or believe anyone in Amber Robertson’s inner circle. Misleading law enforcement is the only act needed to place a person’s motives into question. Nevermind the dramatics of social media only making it worse.
Please spread the word and maybe someone in Indiana has more information to speak of.
Please contact the FBI if a larger issue is at bay. They are now assisting IMPD in this case.
