Taking Custody

Within hours of my recent Barment article on Monday, A Vandenberg Air Force Wife and Mother receives an email that declares the once given barment she was issued was actually expired and the on- base Legal office themselves declare that said wife was now free to enter and travel around the base freely without any further intrusion into her days. Now let’s get to the bottom of this so called barment letter that was issued. The original letter declared that said wife was charged and guilty with Marijuana found on base property in base housing. However, investigations uncover that not only is that false but more sinister actions are uncovered. It turns out the military couple were finally engaging in a separation and divorce of what would soon become the joke of the base. According to public records, He didn’t want custody at all of his children when the divorce was initiated and in fact barely ever saw his children and wanted the mother to have sole custody. Are you aware that bases across the U.S.A. are under the impression that they can deny a crime ever happened if they choose to not prosecute a service member? Are you aware that a victim is not notified if their offending spouse is issued a Letter of Reprimand for spousal maltreatment or child abuse instead of being placed under Court Martial? Are you aware that if a base command issues a Letter of Reprimand, they can legally say "a crime has not been committed because they weren't prosecuted" and legally you would be none the wiser to get a Federal Civil Litigation subpoena to force production of what punishment, if any, was given? The reality is this:  Crimes like Domestic Violence are most often NOT prosecuted because it is easier to deny it didn't happen. So the New Year is here and many are wondering a few things about this blog. I've been working on reformatting the design and will be releasing that here shortly. I've also been dealing with insurmountable numbers of messages coming from spouses and family members of military service members declaring they feel their lives and all they have endured need to be exposed. The nay-sayers have attempted to try to shut this blog down but the problem for them is that this blog is also protected by both Freedom of Speech AND Freedom of the Press as a Freelance Blogger. I won't say something unless I can back it up. Now maybe some of my opinions are not popular but my aim for this blog is not just to expose corruption and wrong doing on Americans and Families, but also to show that life is doable.
